Dad, you have been there for me all my life and always encouraged me to take the next step, like the time we were admiring the view from the top of our home and you said it was a good diving platform and I said I didn’t think so, so you nudged me over the edge.
Or when you showed me how to carry logs back home with you sitting on them so that I could grow big and strong just like you.
You’ve always been a fantastic architect and whenever anyone has come to see our home, they were so awestruck that they could only utter one word, “Dam”!
Mom is always boasting to her friends about what a wonderful builder you are, every chance she gets she tells them that you could make a mountain out of a molehill!
Like Mom, you’ve given me great advice over the years and I hope you don’t mind if I share just some of your advice here.
The last bit of advice that I’m going to share with you is probably the one I use most days
10. Never do a job today that can be put off till tomorrow!
Happy Father’s Day Barnaby – I love you!
