What Can I Borrow?

Library materials you can borrow….
Over 20,000 items—books (regular, large print & audio format), magazines, DVDs, and music CDs are available at the Beaverlodge Library.  We also have a sizeable collection of German language audiobooks.

If the item you want is out….
You can place a hold yourself using the online catalogue at the library or at home,  or you may ask a staff member for assistance. The library offers two convenient ways to notify you of your holds– email or phone.

Can I only borrow items from my own library?
No way!  Your Beaverlodge library card is also an Alberta Library Card!  That means you can borrow material from over 290 libraries across the province, and return it to any participating library.  One card gives you access to millions of books!

Items not available through TRAC (The Regional Automation Consortium) may be obtained with interlibrary loan from TAL (the Alberta Library). Library staff are available to assist with ordering materials either in person, by phone at 780-354-2569 or email -  librarian@beaverlodgelibrary.ab.ca
